Candidate qualifications

SGSB is searching for a student body comprised of creative, dedicated and globally-focused leaders with diverse educational, professional and cultural backgrounds. Applicants should have demonstrated excellence in their undergraduate coursework (a GPA of at least 2.7 on the scale of 4.0), as well as have displayed leadership and professionalism in their careers.

Applicants for the SGSB MBA program must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. The undergraduate degree can be in any academic discipline and the candidate does not need to have previous experience in business. Candidates need to be fluent in spoken and written English.

Students already admitted to SGSB's MBA program have undergraduate and, in some cases, graduate degrees in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Humanities, Engineering and Medicine. The students are currently employed in various industries, such as; Information Technology, Government, International Development, Banking and Financial Services, Consulting, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Retail and Wholesale Trade.

SGSB's current student body includes entrepreneurs, as well as country-level and regional managers of multinational organizations. The student body's work experience ranges from one to fifteen years with an average employment record of 5.6 years. The age of the MBA students ranges from 26 to 38 with an average age of 32 and 43% of our MBA students are women.
