Application

FALL 2008 SEMESTER

The application for the SGSB MBA dual-degree program includes the following components:

Grades Transcripts

Please arrange for official transcripts from your undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) institutions to be sent to SGSB. The official transcript must list all courses taken and grades earned for each course. A transcript can only be considered official when it has been mailed directly from the student's former institution(s) to the Graduate Office. If the transcript does not state that a degree has been awarded, please also send a copy of your diploma.

In the event that your official transcript is not written in the English language, you must send the original transcript and an English translation of the transcript prepared by a certified English language translator.

Medical certificate

Issued not more than three months following the date of submitting the application, showing that applicant does not suffer from a disease of high risk for the community and/or that he/she is capable for work. Medical certificate can be issued by Studentska poliklinika, Sarajevo.

GMAT®

Applicants must register and take the Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®). Applicants can locate international testing centers, register and obtain additional information about the GMAT® at www.mba.com *. GMAT will be waived for applicants with the undergraduate or graduate (if applicable) GPA of 3.5 on the scale of 4.0.
GMAT score must be at least 1000 when the applicant's test score (minimum of 400) is added to the product of his/her GPA and 200 (for example, GPA of 3.0 x 200 + 400 = 1000).

TOEFL

Applicants must register and take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Applicants can locate international testing centers, register and obtain additional information at www.ets.org. Applicants must obtain a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL or 213 on the computer-based TOEFL in order to be eligible for admission into the SGSB MBA program.*

Curriculum Vitae/Resume

Applicants must submit to SGSB an updated copy of their curriculum vitae (CV) or resume in the English language.

Application Form

Applicants must complete the application form in .jpg format that can be found at: http://www.hsu.edu/international.aspx?id=8240. The application must be filled in hand. If you have any difficulties completing the application, please contact us.

Application Fee

All completed applications must include a non-refundable USD$75 application fee. Applicants have the option of paying in United States Dollars ($), Euros (€) or in BiH Convertible Marks (BAM).

* Please arrange with the Testing Centres for your official GMAT® and TOEFL score reports to be sent to SGSB. The HENDERSON State University’s institution code is: 6272.

The Applicant’s Official Transcripts, CV/Resume, Application Form and Application Fee should be sent or delivered to the attention of Ms. Aleksandra Ristic at the following address:

Once the applicant has submitted all components of the application, the applicant will be invited to SGSB for a formal interview with admissions representatives.
