On Thursday, December 14th, 2006, at Banski dvori in Banja Luka, the ceremony of honoring a highly acclaimed award of MANAGER OF THE YEAR – 2006 was held. The ceremony was organized by the Directorate of the Agency for Selecting the Best Manager in BiH and South-Eastern Europe.

On this occasion, Mr. Kenan Crnkić, Executive Director of the MCO Prizma, was proclaimed the Manager of the Year for the remarkable business results of the MCO Prizma, as well as extraordinary merit in the development of the micro-credit sector and the improvement of the overall entrepreneurship in BiH, as well as in the wider region, in the field of small business. The award - the Manager of the Year was also conferred to Milorad Dodik, President of the RS Government, for creating an environment for the development of business and economy in BiH. Furthermore, a special acknowledgment was awarded to Željko Komšić, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for his contribution to the creating of the conditions for the development of business at the time when he was the Mayor of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo.

It is important to point out the fact that Mr. Crnkić was honored with this highly acclaimed award as one of the most prospective mangers in BiH and South-Eastern Europe, which is best confirmed by the great potential this young manager has, as well as the strengthening of the leading position of the MCO Prizma in the micro-finance sector on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.

Anyway, this is the thirteenth selection of the Manager in BiH and the entire project is supported by the international community. Thus, the sponsor for the last three years was the President of the European Commission for BiH, Ambassador Michael Humphreys, with the aim to contribute to the integration of the economic space of the former Yugoslavia, and wider, with the EU.

The MCO Prizma shall embark on the Year 2007, when it will celebrate the ten-year anniversary of its business operations, with more than 100 employees, who work in over 40 branches all over the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing services for more than 20,000 satisfied clients. In its work to date, the MCO Prizma has disbursed more than 100,000 micro-credits in the total amount of KM 130 million.

The fact that this valuable award went into the hands of a director of a micro/credit organization, just after the UN Year of Micro-Credits, the awarding of the Nobel Prize to Mr. Muhamed Junus, the creator of the micro-finance, and the celebrating of the ten year anniversary of micro-crediting in Bosnia and Herzegovina, not only further affirms the sector of the micro-finance in the overall economic system in BiH but it also gives more incentive to the MCO Prizma to continue achieving the same, if not better results in all segments of its activity in the future.

dobio priznanje Privredna ličnost – Menadžer godine 2006.

U četvrtak 14. decembra 2006. godine u Banskim dvorima u Banjoj Luci u organizaciji Direkcije agencije za izbor najmenadžera BiH i jugoistočne Evrope održana je ceremonija dodjele visokog priznanja PRIVREDNA LIČNOST 2006. GODINE

Ovom prilikom gospodin Kenan Crnkić, Izvršni direktor MKO Prizma, proglašen je za menadžera godine za izuzetne poslovne rezultate MKO Prizma, te za izvanredne zasluge u razvoju mikrokreditnog sektora i unapređenje ukupnog poduzetništva u BiH kao i u široj regiji i to u domenu malog biznisa. Priznanje za Privrednu Ličnost uručeno je i Miloradu Dodiku predsjedniku vlade RS za stvaranje ambijenta za razvoj biznisa i ekonomije BIH ,a specijalno priznanje uručeno je i članu predsjedništva BiH Željku Komšiću za doprinos stvaranju uslova za razvoj biznisa u vrijeme dok je bio načelnik opštine Novo Sarajevo.

Bitno je istaći činjenicu da je ovo visoko priznanje gospodinu Crnkiću dodijeljeno kao jednom od najperspektivnijih menadžera u BiH i jugoistočnoj Evropi, što najbolje potvrđuje veliki potencijal ovog mladog menadžera lično, kao i jačanje liderske pozicije MKO Prizma u mikrofinansijskom sektoru na području Bosne i Hercegovine i šire regije.

Inače, ovo je trinaesti po redu izbor za Privrednu ličnost - Menadžera BiH, a cjelokupni projekat podržan je od strane međunarodne zajednice, te je tako pokrovitelj u posljednje tri godine bio predsjednik Evropske komisije za BiH, ambasador Majkl Hemfriz, što je imalo za cilj doprinijeti integraciji ekonomskog prostora bivše Jugoslavije, te šire prema EU.

U 2007. godinu, kada slavi 10-godišnjicu svog poslovanja MKO Prizma ulazi sa preko 100 uposlenih koji djeluju iz preko 40 filijala na prostoru cjele Bosne i Hercegovine putem kojih opslužuju vise od 20.000 zadovoljnih klijenata. U svome dosadasnjem radu MKO Prizma isplatila je preko 100.000 mikrokredita u ukupnom iznosu od 130 miliona KM.

Činjenica da ovo vrijedno priznanje dolazi u ruke direktora jedne mikrokreditne organizacije odmah nakon UN-ove godine Mikrokredita, dodjele Nobelove nagrade gospodinu Muhamedu Junusu tvorcu mikrofinansija i obilježavanju desetogodišnjice mikrokreditiranja u Bosni i Hercegovini, dodatno afirmiše sektor mikrofinansija u cjelokupnom ekonomskom sistemu BiH, te i MKO Prizma daje dodatni poticaj da i u budućnosti pravi ako ne iste onda i veće rezultate na svim poljima svoga djelovanja.
