Fourth SGSB MBA Cohort Graduation

On Friday, June 26th 2009, beginning at 18:00, the convocation ceremony for SGSB MBA students and IUS undergraduate and graduate students was held in Hotel Hollywood, Ilidža, Sarajevo. The title “Master of Business Administration” was granted to 31 SGSB students of the fourth cohort, generation 2008/2009.

The ceremony was attended by over 600 guests, with special appearances and speeches by the Henderson University representative, Dr. Robert E. Houston, Texas A&M – Commerce president Dr. Dan Jones, Turkish Minister of Environment and Forestry, Mr. Veysel Eroğlu, and others. The fourth SGSB cohort graduated with resounding success, with the vast majority of students placed on the Dean’s List. Two MBA students received special recognition for their outstanding academic performance – Đenan Džumhur and Hamza Musić.

This Fall, SGSB ventures into a new partnership with esteemed colleagues from the Texas A&M University – Commerce, which will enable continuation of SGSB tradition in top-tier graduate education. Texas A&M University has been in the business of business education since 1889, and was recently ranked 1st in the nation by the Washington Monthly for "tangible contributions to the public interest", while the US News and World Report ranked Texas A&M 3rd nationally as a "best value" among public universities.

Together with TAMU_Commerce and International University of Sarajevo, and with the guidance of Flag International, SGSB aims to enrich Bosnian professional community with new MBA graduates, expand the social network of its graduates, and to promote unity, cooperation and growth.
